It’s the 9002 years AD (converted to our current standards).

Everything we can imagine a society can go through, the planet can go through on (cosmic) short-term.

Evolution continued, but no beyond what we envisioned we could alter ourselves. DNA holds no secret, technology is able to care of everything. All ideologies are subject to heavy criticisms, on the basis that they have a dogmatic tendancy. Migrations have rendered old concepts of empires, states, nations, cities, provences, villages and so forth, no more meaningfull than any other geographical location of some ancient concept. Quint, as we today look back on many medieval concepts. Some sort of new, completely deconstructed world emerges. Anarchism is the only thing left in the humans remaining. They attack all forms of authority on the basis that there has been authority in the past and that there had also been many forms of repression. Freedom being comprimised by others, having power over others beyond what you would allow any one to have over another. Individuality is freely expressed; for anyone wanting to limit it on the basis that it would inhibit their individuality somehow, would have to illustrate clearly how that occurs.

Information by torture is not outlawed, it is simply pointless. Telepathic energetic plugs combined with nano-inputs into the brain and aided by the atmosphere (because of the millennia of radiowave pollution). After all, anyone born on this planet, would have these waves going through their brain when they’re just embryos. Everyone shares information with eacher on a very “Borg” like way if you’re into that futuristic filler for the idea. Lifespans and quality are have levelled off at 240 (average for both sexes) and record at 394 (though the last 35 years of those were in a cyborg, but most count all years after 300 even though there are more biogenic upgrades than (old fashioned) organs after a while. Individuality is not lost, instead it is freed from all types of misinformation. All organisms interact directly with each other, without systems of hierarchy of presupposed authority is laid down upon this open network.

What do you think would be the main and distinct features of a society of people, having learned from and seen all past mistakes, trying something radically new. In a toxic, yet pleasant world. In the numerical relic of the future as it were, 240 is the year in which you generally decide to end it yourself. 234 is the year in which you start your “voyage”, meaning you do everything you thought was to dangerous to do before.

Most get through it in 3 years and sit and return to their prior occupations, hobbies and favorite activities.

Of course, that’s not true of all people, some like being around as long as possible. Some start living life to the fullest as soon as they’ve reached the physical peak. Which I could specify in years, but it’d be meaningless. Considering our unstable endurance over a lifetime when left untreated. All sorts of aids are freely and easily available, with all the production capacity from kingdoms past. Ways which don’t influence the planets’ biosphere anymore. The total population is around 234089, and is not expected to increase beyond 348983 (direct cause of 1 species going extinct would require 397423). The gene pool is fresh and very varied. Constant intermingling has however made distinctions rather hard, if not impossible. All traits have a uniqueness to them.

The intellectual stimili in the society are spawn from the massive ability to expand it. Their extensive life allows even the more physically inclined to dig in to vast amounts of data. Likewise, sooner or later, most people get around to testing their limits. Including all the ways the body automatically finds “fun”.

The worst has happened, the best is left. Anything could happen, what do you think will?

Ron Paul: The Revolution:

The US of Adverstising has military bases in 131 countries. The Democrats and Republicans are two sides of the same coin. Both want war, they differ on tactical issues. The morality is not to be discussed. As for free market or what was once called “the democratic experiment”, I feel there is no better place to test it than the USA. If only to stop the flow of military aid to Columbia, Egypt, Saudi family and Israel.

I haven’t read it yet, but it’s good to remember we dont’ live a democracy or city-state (if you’re an Aristotle fan) yet.

The Communist Manifesto:

Compare some these with your current State-System and how much power it has over the individual even in neo-liberal western-europe:

Manifest Destiny:

Ok, not a manifesto. But it’s a good to remember democrats started imperialism, took half of Mexico’s land and pretty much completed the genocide of native americans (if that term has any meaning at all).

The Declaration of Independence:

That all men are created equal except for black people, this was later amended and used by lawyers as a legal technique to grant rights to corporations. And that the persuit of happiness is more important than obtaining it.

The Fascist Manifesto:

George Orwell explained that fascism is a term void of meaning by now (and by the time he wrote most of his works even) and used to describe any and all undesirable forms of exercising power. It’s ironic to note that this manifest includes: Voting rights for women, abolition of elitist institutes based on nobility and nepotism, minimum wage, a progressive tax, peace when possible (by default). Il Duce somewhat abused this document and the movement. But a lot of corporatism still lives on in Belgium when you think about it.

The GNU Manifesto:

Copyleft things instead of copyright them and replace competition by cooperation. If you think this will take the challenge out of life, I remind you that we have a huge capacity to destroy all human life on earth and various other lifeforms. It’s a challenge for mankind to last langer than say, the sun. This idea never caught on in the land of Tetris, because it resembled communism too much.
